Happy New Year! Have you made any New Year resolutions? Have you broken them yet? A recent survey says women are more prone to break resolutions first and the average time a resolution is kept before being broken is eight days. My father use to say to me; "Small people talk about other people. Average people talk about things. Great people talk about ideas." I think what this country needs is more great people-what do you think?

"Fear seems to be in the driver's seat these days. We are troubled and anxious. Finances are tumbling, rockets are launching, and seemingly solid institutions are teetering. It's tough to know where to turn, isn't it? But there is an antidote for our fears-trust. If we trust God more, we can fear less. Jesus did not want us to live fearfully. He often reminded us 'Fear not.'"
